We, Akshat and Ankita, founded Vedya Learning with a simple belief: teenagers today need much more than academics to thrive. They need resilience, clarity, confidence, and stronger bonds at home to truly grow into future-ready individuals.
Our journeys shaped this conviction. Akshat’s foundation was built at Welham Boys’ School, where boarding life instilled independence early on, and later at IIT Bombay, where he learned among some of the brightest minds in the country. Ankita, coming from humble beginnings, dreamt big and made her way to the London School of Economics, where she built a global career, meaningful relationships, and learned to balance it all while raising two daughters.
With over 30 years of combined professional experience and as parents ourselves, we’ve seen first-hand how today’s teenagers are caught between academic and career pressures, digital distractions, and the need to prepare for a world changing faster than ever. At the same time, they are navigating the emotional rollercoaster of adolescence.
Through these experiences, one truth became clear: teenagers need more than textbooks. They need clarity in academics and careers in a world reshaped by AI and new opportunities; self-leadership skills to take responsibility for their choices and emotions; and harmony at home through stronger parent-child relationships.
This is why we created Vedya Learning — to give teenagers the tools to build resilience, confidence, and future-readiness, while guiding parents toward conscious, supportive parenting. For us, Vedya Learning is not just a venture. It is our mission to nurture a generation of grounded, capable, and compassionate individuals who step into the future with clarity, courage, and curiosity.
